Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) is investing in changes to improve the way it monitors air quality in the Latrobe Valley and invites you to be involved.
EPA currently monitors air quality using equipment in Moe, Churchill, Morwell and Traralgon. To help us improve the way we measure and communicate information from this air monitoring network, we’re asking members of the community to nominate for the Latrobe Valley Air Monitoring Co-Design Panel.
Panel members will develop a new air quality monitoring model for the Latrobe Valley, ensuring our network delivers the best representation of air quality in your community.
Supported by air monitoring experts and EPA staff members, the panel will learn about and discuss air quality monitoring and smoke sensor locations to develop the new model.
Community members are not required to be scientists or to know anything about air monitoring to participate, as background information about air quality and the co-design process will be provided.
