MyGov Information Session
This session will assist participants to understand what myGov is, how to access it and how it benefits them. They will be assisted to create their own myGov account, and link Centrelink and Medicare services in order to do their business with the Department online. This will also enable participants to access the ATO for tax purposes and other government services, including NDIS.
In order to participate in this session, participants are asked to bring the following with them: Photo ID, Medicare card, Centrelink card, mobile phone and email account password.
We are seeking Volunteer Repairers. To kick start the Latrobe Valley Repair Café. If you fancy your self to be a Mr or Mrs fixit and have skills to share, get in contact with the House to register your interest.
The Latrobe Valley Repair Café has the following goals:
* To bring back repairing into local society in a modern way;
* To maintain repair expertise and to spread this knowledge;
* To promote social cohesion in the local community by connecting neighbours from very different backgrounds and with different motives with each other through inspiring and
low-key workshops to fix things rather than throwing them away.
Home Made Arts & Crafts
This is a group for anyone who wishes to learn different craft techniques. This class will focus on recycling items to use for craft. Low cost crafts and loads of laughs. An enjoyable class to get you into the swing of craft. Bookings essential.
