Vote – People’s Place

DO YOU LIKE US? DO YOU LOVE US? DO YOU THINK WE’RE DOING OK?

We’ve got yet another idea and WE NEED YOUR VOTES TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Here’s the idea (drumroll please…….)

As you already know, Morwell Neighbourhood House  is committed to improving our service delivery, breaking down barriers to access and support. Our social supports enrich the quality of people, build community capacity and strengthen community pride. WE WANT TO KEEP DOING THIS…AND BETTER!!

?The Morwell People’s Place is about access, equity and community interaction?

The Morwell People’s Place will be making our services and supports more accessible to the wider Morwell and Latrobe Valley Community through the creation of a SHOP FRONT in Morwell’s CBD!

We reckon a shop front service will allow us to:
? improve accessibility to our services and support
? help the community easily access our services (including)
o the lawn mower bank,
o free store,
o food bank and
o educational opportunities.

To make the dream come true we are going to need plenty of
???online loving ???
from YOU!!!

What is PICK MY PROJECT?

‘Pick My Project’ is a Victorian-first community grants initiative, with at least $1 million in funding available in each metro and regional area. The top three most voted for ideas will get picked for a community grant. (WOOHOO!)
Voting is quick and simple, (you will need to register first) and open until 5pm, Monday 17 September so here’s how you show us you love us!!

1) Register for a Pick My Project account. If you already have an account, simply sign in.
2) Select your local community by entering your suburb or address. You can then browse the project ideas in your local community and create a shortlist of your favourites [make sure the MORWELL’S PEOPLES PLACE is your number ONE!]
3) Pick your three favourite project ideas from your shortlist and verify your mobile number. You’ll then be able to submit your votes.

Vote for your top 3 local projects here!
